Nintendo Clears Austrialian Dev to make Wii U Games

Australian developer Nnooo, best known for their WiiWare title Pop, is impressed with Nintendo's new hardware. They recently applied for a license to make Wii U games, and the big N has finally said Yes to NNooo. Nic Watt, the Creative Director of the company, had this to say:

"We're thrilled to received approval to developer approval for this exciting new console," adding "We can't wait to see what the console is capable of and already have a number of ideas we'd like to experiment with."

The blessing of Nintendo is hardly surprising, the company has been creating games for Nintendo consoles since their founding in 2006. Don't expect to see anything too soon, though, Watt said they will begin "prototyping some ideas" for the Wii U after the release of their latest titles, Spirit Hunters Inc. and escapeVektor.
