Steve - Editor, Head Writer

Steve has been a Nintendo fan since he first played the original Super Mario Bros. as a kid in the late 80s. While he has nothing against the other companies, the big N is easily his favorite developer. He has owned every major Nintendo console and has a good-sized collection for each system, with the exception of the Virtual Boy. His favorite franchises are Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Kart. Even after 15 years, the N64 version of GoldenEye 007 is still his favorite game of all time. Steve believes there's only one right way to play GoldenEye - Control Style 1.2, auto-aim off. What makes this setup so great? Check out Steve's GoldenEye retrospective for details.

Jake has been an avid gamer since the days of the Atari 2600, and he firmly believes Super Metroid is the greatest game of all time. He recently started up a website of his own to share his passion for gaming, and he writes with a comedic touch. His efforts have received positive reactions from many big names in the industry, including Namco. You can check his site out at:

Mike - Contributor, Podcaster

Mike has been a fan of the big N since he got an NES and Ghosts 'n Goblins on Christmas Day, 1985.  He even submitted an idea to Nintendo for an NES game, which was promptly rejected.  Although he plays all systems, he is a Nintendo fan at heart.  Some of Mike's favorite franchises are Star FoxResident Evil, and pretty much any fighting game.  He's still trying to get past the third level of Ghosts 'n Goblins though...

Tony - Contributor

Tony has been a devoted Nintendo gamer ever since his father received an NES for his birthday. After playing the original Super Mario Bros. non-stop he was hooked. The two most influential games in his life were Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, which actually helped teach him to read; and Super Mario 64, which cemented him as a life long lover of video games. While he plays all games on all systems, he insists that the Super Nintendo remains the best video game system ever made, and Nintendo the best developer.
