Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures - Gameplay video with commentary

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is now available in stores, and can be purchased on the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3. It's one of the lower-profile multiplatform titles to see a release on Nintendo's new console, and costs less than most retail games. Online retailer Amazon, for example, has it listed well below the usual $50 to $60 price range, as do Best Buy and GameStop, causing many gamers to label it as a budget title.

The reviews have been slowly trickling out, but there aren't a whole lot of critics weighing in. Metacritic hasn't received enough scores on any platform to give it an average. The scores have been very mixed so far. Some say it's a decent platformer, while others say it's not worth it. The staff of GameXplain have spent some time playing the Wii U version of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, and released a video showing plenty of footage, including a look at how well it runs on the GamePad via Off-TV Play. Retailers list Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for $40

Namco Bandai recently announced Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is in development for the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game has players guiding the iconic hero through Pac-World as he battles the familiar ghosts.

It looks as though the game will be priced somewhat lower than most games, as several retailers, including Amazon and GameStop, have now listed it for $39.99.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures coming to Wii U

Namco Bandai has announced Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game has players guiding the iconic character through Pac-World as he battles the familiar  ghosts and their leader, Betrayus. Here's a brief description from the official website.

The story begins as the menacing ghosts escape from the uber creepy Netherworld to invade PacWorld. These frightening ghosts, ghouls, and goblins wreak havoc on the population and cause nothing but trouble wherever they go! Pac and his pals rise to the challenge of protecting their home and embark on an epic battle.

The game is scheduled for release in North America this fall, with a winter release planned for Europe and Oceania. Trailer after the break.
