GameStop taking pre-orders for Wii U, giving credit for console trade-ins

American video game retailer GameStop has started taking pre-orders for the Wii U, and they are offering store credit for gamers who trade in their current consoles and games. Here's a breakdown:

-$50 trade credit for a Wii
-$90 trade credit for an Xbox 360 (original models)
-$90 trade credit for a PS Vita
-$90 trade credit for a 3DS
-$115 trade credit for a PS3 (original models)
-$115 trade credit for an Xbox 360 (slim)
-$140 trade credit for a PS3 (slim)

The retail giant is also offering a $10 incentive for trade-ins tied to a pre-order. In addition, they are now taking pre-orders for Wii U games as well. They have posted a warning, stating "quantities are limited." You can check out all the details via their official website.
