Nano Assault Neo - 27 minutes of gameplay footage

Developer Shin'en Multimedia appears to have a hit on its hands with the Wii U eShop title Nano Assault Neo. The game is a dual stick shoot 'em up in which players take the role of a pilot who has been shrunken to microscopic size and sent inside the human body to destroy infectious cells with a strong battery of lasers. Gamers can pick up power-ups and credits to buy upgrades for their ships, and there are leaderboards that will let you see how your performance compares to your peers.

So far it has received some pretty respectable scores, and IGN even gave it a 9 out of 10. As for the average gamers, they seem to love it too, as the title is currently at number 4 on Nintendo's list of top 20 eShop games.

The staff of GameXplain have put together a video which shows 27 minutes of gameplay footage, with some commentary thrown in to explain a little about what it has to offer. You can watch it after the break.
