Ubisoft has announced via their official website that the Uplay app is now available for the Wii U. If you own any games published by Ubisoft, you'll probably want to download it. Here is some info straight from the company's website.
What is Uplay?
Uplay rewards you for playing the games you love with a wide range of exclusive services and free content. Uplay Members earn units that can be redeemed for exciting rewards such as new characters, maps, skins and weapons.
How to Download the Free Uplay App in Nintendo eShop?
1. Find the Uplay App by either browsing through the Wii U main menu, or through the eshop search.
2. Choose the Uplay App on either your TV or on your controller touch screen.
3. Select DOWNLOAD to start the App install for FREE.
4. Go back to the main menu and LAUNCH the Uplay App.
You may be asked to either login to your Uplay account or create a new one when launching the Uplay App.
