Cloudberry Kingdom coming in March

Castle level in Cloudberry Kingdom

Developer Pwnee Studios has given a tentative release date of March 2013 for their upcoming platformer Cloudberry Kingdom. The game will be available on the Wii U eShop, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network. The company has also revealed it is already working on a new project, although no specific details were given.

“In the meantime we are already under way developing a new game! No title yet, but concept art and game-play is being designed as we speak, and we will be launching a Kickstarter campaign very soon to help fund our development.”

Cloudberry Kingdom randomly generates levels depending on the level of difficulty chosen by the player, and uses advanced AI to always ensure that success is possible. It boasts infinite levels, features an arcade mode, four-player co-op, leaderboards, a custom level builder, custom level sharing, and the ability to challenge friends. The hardest difficulty is said to be truly challenging, and Pwnee Studios is actually offering $1,000 to the first player who can complete the game on the hardest difficulty.
