That's a lot of missing content. |
The Wii U version of Sniper Elite v2 is in stores now, and those who picked up the game have discovered it lacks the online co-op mode featured in the other versions. Gamers who own the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions can team up with other players online and battle through the campaign together, but the Nintendo crowd is missing out. Wii U owners have been voicing their discontent on Miiverse, the Big N's social network.
The Wii U version of the game does not include any of the DLC released on the other platforms, but that is no surprise as Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley had confirmed that the downloadable content would not be included on-disc during a recent interview. The company has not announced plans to bring said content to Nintendo's console.
In addition, the image above has surfaced on NeoGAF, which compares the menu screens of the Wii U version and those of the other platforms. As you can see, even leaderboards are missing.
