Mutant Mudds Deluxe is an enhanced version of the original Mutant Mudds which was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS and PC earlier this year. Developer Renegade Kid has given few details about the game, although company co-founder Jools Watsham has said via Twitter that it will have it's own "unique content" and will be available on the Wii U eShop in Q1 2013.

For those of you unfamiliar with Mutant Mudds, the game is a 2D platformer which was reportedly inspired by a number of classic platformers including Super Mario World and Virtual Boy Wario Land. Gamers take control of a protagonist named Max who is equipped with a gun and a jetpack. Players run, jump, and blast their way through some very challenging levels and it has a reputation for putting gamers' platforming skills to the test. It received good scores from most reviewers, and currently holds a Metacritic average of 80.
