Gearbox has been one of the most vocal supporters of the Wii U from the beginning, with nothing but positive things to say about the new system. Brian Martel, founder of the company, told Dealspwn the Wii U is a "really cool platform," and went on to say "If Borderlands 2 was on the Wii U, the thing I would be most excited about is inventory management: it would be amazing on that." He believes that, if publisher 2K Games were to give the go-ahead to port the game to the console, they could make it the best-looking version of the title, echoing his previous comments that the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines will be graphically superior to its cross platform counterparts.
