At the recent CEDEC conference in Japan, Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the returning characters in the new Super Smash Bros. games will have new moves. One thing worth mentioning is that the source of this information, The Magic Box, has listed this as 3DS news. Many websites are reporting this as Wii U news, and I suppose that the games will be more or less the same on both platforms, so they are probably right. I have posted a small image of the The Magic Box's post below. As you can see, there isn't much to it.
Sakura also said there will be new characters, and Smash Bros. fans can't wait to see who makes the roster. Sounds like the new Smash Bros. games are going to have quite a few surprises for gamers.
