One of the quirkier Wii U games is Project P-100, and it's been playing second fiddle to the bigger names like New Super Mario Bros. U and Assassin's Creed III. As the crew of Destructoid can tell you, however, you should not dismiss this game. It is being developed by Platinum Games and will be published by Nintendo themselves. If you aren't familiar with Platinum Games, they're the developer that created Bayonetta and Vanquish for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The folks of Destructoid attended last weekend's PAX Prime in Seattle, and they got some hands-on time with a lot of Wii U titles, including Project P-100. As Destructoid's Tara puts it, the game's like Pikmin with superheroes, and the graphics are done in a style reminiscent of Viewtiful Joe. You can see Destructoid's video overview of the game after the break.
