GameStop completely sold out of Wii U Deluxe and Basic Sets

Completely sold out. Demand is "off the charts."

GameStop has completely sold out their pre-order stock of Wii U Deluxe and Basic Sets, and are no longer taking pre-orders at this time. This news comes directly from the retailer's president, Tony Bartel, who said demand for the console has been "off the charts." Members of GameStop PowerUp can join the Wii U Wait List, which will notify them when pre-orders are available again.

Bartel: “Demand for Wii U has been off the charts. Customers will be notified when a Wii U is available for purchase and will have 48 hours to respond. There is no deposit required to join the wait list and enrolling does not guarantee a Wii U on or by a specified date or at a specific price.”

This is very good news. When GameStop starts taking pre-orders again, we'll be sure and let you know.
