Nano Assault Neo is a Wii U eShop title that was announced at Nintendo's press conference, and we have the first details, along with the trailer. First off, the game is not a port of the 3DS version, but it is set in the same universe. There will be a 2 player mode, along with some new game modes as well and a new scoring system. Nano Assault Neo will use an energy system instead of one hit deaths, players can buy new items in between levels with credits they've earned, and the Nintendo Network will be used for online rankings. In case you're wondering, yes, it can be played solely on the GamePad. Still no word on a release date, but it is expected to be out before year's end . Trailer after the break.
