Wii U will be region-locked, won't play import titles

According to CVG, the Wii U will be region-locked, meaning gamers will not be able to play titles imported from outside their respective region of the world. This doesn't really come as a surprise as the NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, and 3DS were also region-locked as well. Many gamers have already begun voicing their discontent, pleading with Nintendo to give up their long-standing policy.
