Developer WayForward Technologies have announced that the Wii U version of Mighty Switch Force 2 will arrive on the North American eShop on Thursday, October 17th, 2013. The screenshot you see above is from the Nintendo 3DS version as there do not appear to be any images of the retooled one just yet.

Tomorrow on Wii U: "Mighty Switch Force! 2". This is the same version as on Nintendo 3DS. So, pixel artwork retooled for 16:9 screens.
