FIFA 13 - Wii U Version Video Review by GameSpot

When it was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 two months ago, FIFA 13 sales were off the charts. After 5 days, 4.5 million copies had been sold, giving it the best launch-week sales of 2012. The Wii U has finally launched in the US and UK, and FIFA 13 is now available for the platform. While the GamePad allows players to get a truly unique experience, it appears a few things were lost in translation.

As you will see in GameSpot's video review, it is basically FIFA 12 with new rosters and some GamePad features. If you can recall, one of EA's other sports offerings for the Wii U, Madden 13, was also little more than last year's game with a new roster and GamePad features. In spite of its weaknesses, IGN gave Madden 13 a solid score of 8.3 out of 10. FIFA 13, on the other hand, received a much lower score of 6. GameSpot didn't think it was quite as disappointing, giving it a decent 7 out of 10, so it might be worth a purchase if you're a huge FIFA fan and don't have an Xbox 360 or PS3.
