The first reviews for New Super Mario Bros. U are coming in, and they are overwhelmingly postive. As of this writing, the game has a Metacritic average of 87 based on 8 reviews from around the web. IGN gave it a 91, the highest mark of the bunch, while the lowest score is an 80 that was given out by GamesRadar. The average will fluctuate in the coming weeks as more and more critics weigh in, but I have the feeling it won't be dropping much at all, and may even climb higher.
