Scribblenauts Unlimited - Video Review by IGN (Wii U version)

Mario and Zelda characters in Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited

In Scribblenauts Unlimited, players take control of lead character Maxwell and complete various tasks to obtain Starites, magical objects which will free his sister from a curse that is slowly turning her into stone. Quite a strange plot, but then again, this is not your typical game, as players themselves can create objects to use in the game world.

The Wii U version actually features some exclusive material: characters and objects from Nintendo's Mario and Legend of Zelda franchises. According to GameStop, when it comes to sales, Scribblenauts Unlimited is one of the top 5  Wii U games, the others being ZombiU, Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and New Super Mario Bros. U. While the retail chain didn't give specific sales numbers for each title, or list them in any particular order, the fact that it's doing so well is impressive nonetheless, and it's certainly worth taking a look at. IGN has played through the game and they seem to have really enjoyed it. You can watch their video review after the break.
