Ubisoft CEO not happy with Wii U pricing
Ubisoft is quite possibly the largest third-party supporter of the Wii U, but it appears Yves Guillemot, the company's CEO, is not pleased with the price of the console.
Guillemot: "I always prefer lower pricing, so I can't say I'm happy. I'm never happy when the machines are expensive. What we have to do there is remember that compared to an iPad, it's cheap. With what it brings [to the gaming table] it's cheap. But I hope they'll be able to drop their price in time."
Nintendo recently admitted that they will be selling the console at a loss, something that came as a surprise to many given the company's record. According to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, they have no intention of dropping the price anytime soon.
