In an interview with Nintendo Life, Manfred Linzer said that Nano Assault Neo only "scratched the surface" and revealed that Shin'en Multimedia is working on two more games, one of which "is in the racing genre." Shin'en is the company behind the critically acclaimed WiiWare racer FAST - Racing League, and Nintendo Life speculates that it could be an entry in the series.

As for Nano Assault Neo, Linzner said the consumer response has been "overwhelming" and declared it to be one of the company's "fastest selling games ever." He also revealed there is a patch coming that will fix several minor issues.

We've already submitted a first patch to Nintendo that will fix a display problem in the online rankings, and a minor issue when the GamePad does disconnect. To our knowledge there are no restrictions in such updates by Nintendo. -Manfred Linzner, Shin'en Multimedia

Our own Jake "The King of Video Games" recently reviewed Nano Assault Neo and wholeheartedly recommended it. You can check out his review here.
