Original Story
In a Japanese Nintendo Direct, president Satoru Iwata acknowledged that loading times on the Wii U are still somewhat long even after the latest firmware update and said that the issue will be addressed. However, he did not say when users can expect a fix to become available.
He also apologized for the shortage of Wii U Premium Sets in Japan, but it looks like consumers will simply have to wait for more stock to arrive.

thats great news - it does not bother me that much since its basically a 1.0 firmware on the device as long as they admit that its not okay and that they are gonna fix it at some point
