Developer Notion Games have announced they have teamed up with Maestro Interactive Games and will be porting Super Ubi Land to the Wii U.

The 2D platformer is currently in development for HTML5 and was reportedly inspired by Super Mario World, Kirby's Dreamland, and Donkey Kong Country. The game is about an alien named Ubi who crashes on Climate Island and attempts to escape from the evil Dr. Terrestrial who wants to capture him. It features 5 worlds made up of 35 levels, includes a number of bosses, and unlockable characters. Trailer after the break.
