The classis SNES racer F-Zero is now available to download from the eShop in North America. The game is currently priced at 30 cents as part of the Wii U Virtual Console promotion, and is certainly worth a look.

In January, Balloon Fight was the featured game of the month, and many European gamers spoke out when they discovered that it was running at just 50 Hz, making it slower than the versions released in the other regions. Fortunately, Nintendo has confirmed that in PAL regions, F-Zero will be running at 60 Hz when it is released tomorrow, February 21st.

You can check out some gameplay footage after the break.
