The announcement that the release of the Wii U version of Rayman Legends was being delayed so it could launch alongside the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions upset a lot of gamers, and the game's own development team even took pictures with a sign protesting the delay.

According to French site GameKult, Rayman creator Michael Ancel and a handful of other staff members are thinking about leaving Ubisoft after Rayman Legends is complete. The rumor suggests that they wish to have more creative freedom, and isn't necessarily the result of the recent controversy. GameKult is reporting that Ubisoft has denied the reports.
