BioWare has "no plans" to bring new Mass Effect 3 DLC to Wii U

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition was a Wii U launch day title, containing all of the previously released DLC on disc. In the time since then, BioWare, the game's developer, has released additional DLC in the form of the Omega Pack, which gave players more material to enjoy.

While all of the Mass Effect 3 DLC was included on the standalone Wii U disc, the Omega Pack was released for all of the other platforms giving players additional material to enjoy. Last week, Bioware announced that the final DLC for the game is on its way, including Citadel, a single-player campaign, and Reckoning, a multiplayer pack. However, the announcement made no mention of Nintendo's console at all.

It now appears that the DLC is skipping the console, at least for now. A BioWare representative has confirmed to IGN that "there are no plans to bring Citadel or Reckoning to the Wii U at this time."
