Tank! Tank! Tank! now free-to-play in Europe

Box art for Wii U game Tank! Tank! Tank!

Tank! Tank! Tank! is one Wii U launch title that received a lukewarm reception from critics and gamers alike. Due to poor sales, Namco-Bandai converted the game into a free-to-play title in Japan, offering a basic version to everyone in the hopes that they could make money from players downloading additional content.

The same business model is now in effect in Europe, with a "Basic Pack" available to download from the eShop for free. It features three modes: Monster Battle, Free-For-All, and Team Versus, and can be played up to three times a day. Additional content is available for purchase, with a total of 12 add-on packs available. Purchasing any additional content removes the play limit, allowing you to play as much as you want.

YouTube user Kwing recently reviewed the retail version, and he was not impressed. Still, it is available for free, so European gamers might want to take a look at what it has to offer. You can watch the review via the link below.
