QUBE coming to Wii U eShop

Developer Toxic Games has confirmed that their first-person puzzle game QUBE is coming to the Wii U eShop, and possibly the Vita as well. The announcement comes from the company's official Twitter account for the game, along with the note that they "can't wait to get this out."

QUBE was originally released on the PC in December of 2011, and made its way to Mac one year later in December of 2012. The game recouped its $90,000 development expenses in just four days, selling more than 12,000 copies on Steam in that short period of time.

The title puts players in a mysterious environment known as Q.U.B.E., an acronym for Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion. Players are challenged to navigate each level by manipulating the colored cubes that permeate each area, and the puzzles evolve as the game progresses. You can watch the official trailer after the break.
