Three Kirby games now on Wii U Virtual Console

Nintendo has issued a press release announcing the arrival of three classic Kirby games on the Wii U Virtual Console. In addition, the company has announced there is a special sale: if you buy 2 classics starring the popular pink guy, you get the third for free. Not bad. The offer expires on May 30th.

Two of the three games feature the familiar action-platforming the series is known for while the third is a golf game based on the Kirby universe. It's worth noting that the two platformers (Super Star and Dream Land 3) were both included in Kirby's Dream Collection for the Wii. If you really love Kirby, you might want to consider purchasing that disc as it contains 6 of the pink puff's adventures on one disc. You can read about it on this post from last year.

Here are the new arrivals, all of which were originally released on the Super Nintendo. As with all Wii U Virtual Console titles, they feature Off-TV Play, restore points, and a Miiverse community. I have provided links to video reviews on YouTube so you can see each one in action before you make a purchase.
