Update: Warner Bros. says the DLC is coming this summer.
Original Story
There has been a reluctance on the part of many third-party developers to speak about DLC for Wii U games, and the latest title with question marks around it is Injustice: Gods Among Us. The superhero fighter was released on the Wii U last month, and IGN confirmed in a video that the box said that the downloadable content is coming to the console. Warner Bros. recently announced that they are working on a "patch" for the Nintendo crowd, but they have not specified exactly what features it will add.
For those hoping the patch might include DLC support, it appears that the company still has nothing to report on the matter. Here is an exchange between the media giant and one of their followers on Twitter:
@mdee14 We have not made any DLC announcements for Wii U.

At least they haven't completely ruled it out. Hopefully Warner Bros. will be able to give us some answers in the near future.
