Kung Fu Rabbit coming to European Wii U eShop on April 18th

Neko Entertainment has announced Kung Fu Rabbit will be released on the European eShop on April 18th, 2013 with a price point of €4.99. It will also be released in Australia the same day, with a price tag of  $6.50AUD. Neko told Aussie Gamer that it is set for launch in North America roughly two weeks later, although no specific date or price were given for the region.

The 2D platformer was announced just last month and is a port of the popular iOS and Android game which was originally developed by Cazap and Ctools. Neko decided it would work better on a controller with actual buttons and took it upon themselves to bring it to the Wii U. The eShop version will support the GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote and Classic Controller.

Gamers will play as the titular rabbit who sets out on a mission to rescue his bunny pals who have been kidnapped by Universal Evil, who plans on cooking them for dinner. There is no shortage of action, and plenty of perilous jumps, obstacles, and enemies to deal with. Trailer after the break.
