Nintendo announces Wii Sports Club for Wii U eShop
Nintendo has announced that Wii Sports Club is coming to the Wii U eShop. The downloadable title features all five of the games in the original release, including tennis, bowling, baseball, golf, and boxing. Each sport will run in high definition and make use of Wii MotionPlus.
The biggest improvement is the addition of an online multiplayer versus mode. Players will register with online or regional clubs, then meet up with others for casual matches or club matches to increase their rankings.
The five sports will be available for purchase individually. Tennis and bowling will be available on November 7th, while the rest will come out in the "months ahead." All users will have an initial 24-hour period during which they can access both sports for free. After the trial run, players can either purchase each sport for $9.99, or pay $1.99 for one day's access to every sport.
