Wii U has auto shutoff feature
IGN is reporting that the Wii U has an automatic shutoff feature which turns the console off "if there has been no input for a set period of time." Apparently the staff of IGN were completely unaware of said feature and they ended up losing some serious game progress as a result. They were playing an unspecified game, paused it to take care of some other business, and returned to find the system had shut itself down. The default time is 1 hour but it can be adjusted via system options. If you really don't like the feature, you can actually turn it off completely. Always good to have options.
