Developer WayForward has announced via Twitter that Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition is receiving a 30% discount starting today. The game had been available for $10 but is now $7.
The Wii U eShop title is an enhanced port of the 3DS game which features all 21 levels of the original, along with new "Hyper" versions of each stage which are said to be very difficult. Seeing as how WayForward is the same developer who created Contra 4, I think it's safe to say they know something about giving gamers a challenge.
Players take control of female police offer Patricia Wagon as she runs, jumps, and blasts her way through puzzles and enemies. It supports off-screen play, so it's fully playable on the GamePad alone. Video review by Nintendo World Report after the break.
