The Cave coming to the Wii U eShop on January 22

Publisher Sega has announced that the The Cave will be released on the Wii U eShop on January 22 with a price of $14.99. Game director Ron Gilbert has given the following summary of what it's about.

The story is about a sentient talking cave that draws people to it so they can enter and hopefully discover something about themselves. Of course, we should all be careful what we ask about ourselves. We might not like what we find. -Ron Gilbert, director of The Cave

The staff of GameXplain recently spent some time with the side-scrolling eShop title, and recorded a good deal of footage. The video features commentary about the plot, characters, gameplay, co-op multiplayer, and much more. You can watch it after the break.

    1. Sorry about the problems with Safari. When I have some free time I'll try to figure out how common the issue is and see if there's some sort of solution.
