The Kickstarter for the indie game Super Ubi Land has come to an end, raising $6,333, well over the goal of $5,000. The 2D platformer is being developed by Notion Games, and was reportedly inspired by Super Mario WorldKirby's Dreamland, and Donkey Kong Country. The game is about an alien named Ubi who crashes on Climate Island and attempts to escape from the evil Dr. Terrestrial who wants to capture him. It features 5 worlds made up of 35 levels, includes a number of bosses, and unlockable characters.

The sidescroller is currently in development for the Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux. Maestro Interactive, who have partnered with Notion Games, recently said it should be available in "late spring 2013." Trailer after the break.
