Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U update coming April 15th, adds Off-TV play

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is easily one of the biggest games on the Wii U, and it has received solid scores from just about every major publication, including GameSpot and IGN. Next week, it is going to get even better.

Capcom has confirmed that an update for the game will be released next week which adds support for Off-TV Play and allow cross-region multiplayer. The update will go live in North America on April 15th at 5:00 PM Pacific/8:00 PM Eastern, and in Europe on April 16th at 2AM CEST. Here's the official word:

We've all be eagerly waiting for an update on the software update... and it's finally here! I am very pleased to confirm the exact date and time the MH3U update will go live on the Wii U:
April 15, 2013 at 5pm PDT
April 16, 2013 at 2am CEST

Capcom announced the update was in development in February, citing consumer feedback as the reason for its creation.
