New Super Mario Bros. U to get Pro Controller support when Luigi DLC arrives
Nintendo has announced that an update for New Super Mario Bros. U is in development which will arrive around the same time the New Super Luigi U DLC is released. The update will do two things. It will allow players to download the DLC from within the game itself instead of being forced to do so via the eShop, and it will also add support for the Pro Controller, something gamers have been asking for since the Wii U launched.
In a recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was revealed that the digital version of New Super Luigi U is scheduled for release in North America and Europe on June 20th. The boxed version will arrive in Europe on July 26th and North America on August 25th. In the United States, the DLC version will be priced at $19.99, while the physical version will retail for $29.99.
