Wii U eShop updates - 6/20/13 (North America)

There are quite a few new additions to the North American Wii U eShop this week. The New Super Luigi U DLC is now available to download, two classic NES games have arrived on the Virtual Console, and the digital version of Game & Wario is scheduled for release on June 23rd. In addition, Little Inferno is temporarily on sale. Details and screenshots after the break.

  • Luigi jumps higher than Mario but takes longer to speed up and slow down.
  • All 82 levels from New Super Mario Bros. U have been redesigned with Luigi's abilities in mind
  • More challenging than original game.
  • Nabbit is a playable character. He's invincible but cannot use power-ups (meant for less-skilled players).

  • Arrives on eShop this Sunday, June 23rd.
  • $39.99
  • Played exclusively with the GamePad, controller is passed around during multiplayer.
  • Features a total of 16 mini-games.
  • 12 single-player games (two of which can be played with two players).
  • 4 multiplayer-only games for up to five players.

Mario Bros.


  • $4.99
  • NES port of the original arcade game.
  • Marks the first appearance of Luigi.

Wrecking Crew



  • $4.99
  • Platform-puzzle game.
  • 1 or 2 players.
  • Features a level editor (players can save creations on VC).
