Pilotwings now available on Wii U Virtual Console
The classic SNES game Pilotwings is now available on the North American Wii U Virtual Console with a price point of $7.99. If you downloaded the Wii Virtual Console version, you can upgrade for just $1.50, giving you Off-TV Play, a Miiverse community, custom button layouts, and restore points.
The 1-player flight sim was published by Nintendo themselves and makes excellent use of Mode 7, a graphics mode which allowed the SNES to display games in way that gives a semi-3D look. You can watch a gameplay video after the break.
Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition on sale for $6.67
The Wii U eShop exclusive Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition is currently on sale for just $6.67, after which the price will return to $9.99.
