Crysis 3 not in development for Wii U

Crytek has been in the news a lot lately. Crysis 3 producer Mike Read told CVG that the company is "working with Nintendo" and said a Wii U version of the game "is a possibility." Shortly after, wild speculation that the U.K.-based developer might be working on a port for Nintendo's new console. But today, General Manager Nick Button-Brown confirmed via Twitter that the company is not working on a Wii U version of Crysis 3. It is pretty amazing how quickly statements get blown out of proportion, and whether we like it or not, this rumor is dead in the water. Nevertheless, if sales of third-party Wii U games take off and Crytek believes that there is money to be made, the big N's fans may yet find themselves hunting in the Manhattan jungle in the very near future.
