The October issue of Game Informer is going to highlight Nintendo's upcoming console, and New Super Mario Bros U is getting a lot of attention. In fact, it's being featured on the front and back covers of the magazine. If you get your hands on it, you could very well turn the cover into a sweet-looking poster!
Anyway, the Wii U section of Game Informer's website is attracting a good deal of attention. The site's Wii U page features Ice Mario in the background image, pretty much confirming that the Ice Flower power up will be making a return in New Super Mario Bros. U. The Ice Flower first appeared in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for the Nintendo DS. As you probably know, or have guessed, the power up gives the titular brothers the ability to throw snow balls at enemies, freezing them in their tracks. Pretty cool, eh?
