Wii U getting its own version of PC title Death's Apprentice...in 2015

The Wii U is getting its own version of the indie PC game Death's Apprentice, but it's not coming for a long time.

Console versions of the JRPG-inspired role-playing game were officially announced to be in development earlier this week, and the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are scheduled for a 2013 release. The Wii U version...well, that's another story. Apparently it's going to arrive sometime in 2015.

The game's developer, BGG Productions, has revealed it will come in a standard edition which will have a price tag of $59.99, while the Limited Collector's Edition will be $79.99. I'm assuming those prices are for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, but the Wii U may very well get its own Limited Collector's Edition as well, and I'm sure the prices would be comparable if not identical. I have provided a link to the official website for the game. The PC version was released on February 14, 2012, but the site says, "The game started development in 1992." Not sure what to make of that.

Trailer after the break.
