Gamers reporting Wii U crashes

Wii U Deluxe

When the Wii launched, it pretty much went off without a hitch, aside from short supplies of course. The Wii U is another matter, as gamers are reporting a variety of technical issues, and the NeoGAF forums even have a thread dedicated to the topic of crashes. We still don't have any word on how frequent the issues are, but it's likely a very small percentage. One gamer has uploaded a video of his system crashing while he was in the middle of a Nintendo Land gaming session, and it is not pretty. When it crashes, it emits a very loud noise, and sometimes has to be unplugged completely. Video after the break...you might want to turn down your speakers.

    1. Sorry to hear that. Here's some info straight from Nintendo's website about Wii U freezes:

System Freezes Unexpectedly While in Use - Nintendo of America

      What to do:

Instances of system freezing are rare and unlikely to occur. If your system has frozen unexpectedly, do the following:

Reset your system by unplugging it from the wall for 10 seconds.

Ensure your system is kept current with available system updates (How to).
