Wii U error code 150-1093 explanation
Gamers are encountering a variety of technical issues on the Wii U, and one of the more common problems is Wii U error code 150-1093. Joystiq has figured out what it means and how to work around it. The code results when you try to load a game from an external hard drive that isn't powered. The short-term solution is to access the system settings and transfer the game's data to your system while playing. The process takes 2 minutes to complete which may be somewhat of an inconvenience, but at least it allows players to keep gaming. Hopefully a better solution will come along soon.
Nintendo has warned users that they should only use hard drives that can be plugged into power outlets or use 2 USB ports (via a Y cable) as a power source, and now we see why.
