Nintendo may allow indie devs to create games without requiring office space

Nintendo of America's Dan Adelman suggests licensed indie developers may not need to have a dedicated business place in the future

To become a licensed indie developer for Nintendo systems, developers must meet certain requirements. One such requirement is that they must have a place dedicated to business. However, it looks like the Big N might be thinking of abandoning that requirement. Here's what NOA's Dan Adelman said when asked about the subject:

Hany Gohari @DaxHalo: @Dan_Adelman Hi, @SpiltMilkStudio believes to work on eShop games indie studios need an office(based on Iwata-san @ GDC).Is this still true?

Dan Adelman @DanAdelman: @DaxHalo @SpiltMilkStudio Ask me again in a couple weeks. ;)

Should Nintendo decide to do away with the requirement, it would naturally allow more indie developers to become licensed, opening the doors to more games on the Wii U and 3DS.
