Monolith Soft is the developer who delivered the hit RPG Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. A while back, they announced that they were working on a Wii U game but gave no further details. Gamers got their first glimpse of the secret project during Nintendo's presentation, and it looks like it's shaping up nicely. The trailer referred to it simply as X and there has been plenty of speculation as to exactly what it is. Some say it looks like a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles, some say it could be a new Xenogears title, and others have suggested it might be something new that is inspired by games from Monolith Soft's past projects. Whatever it may be, the trailer is worth a look if you're a Wii U owner. Video after the break.
