Wii U version of Dragon Quest X gets release date for Japan
Square Enix has announced that the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X will be released in Japan on March 30th with a price tag of 6,980 yen. There will be a special Dragon Quest X Wii U Premium Set which will be available at launch and will be priced at 42,000 yen. The bundle includes a Wii U Premium Set, Pro Controller, a copy of Dragon Quest X, a $10 pre-paid card, and an item code.
Gamers who purchased the Wii version of the game will be given the chance to download the HD version with a 50% discount. The beta is scheduled to begin on March 6th. Square Enix has not revealed if there are plans to release the MMORPG outside of Japan. Gameplay demo after the break.
