The Kickstarter for
Soul Saga: Episode I has reached it's stretch goal of $80,000 which means the RPG will be coming to the Wii U. The game is set in the floating city of Medonia and features an anime-inspired art style. Mike Gale, the man behind the project, describes it as a "love letter to J-RPG classics from the Playstation era like
Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Suikoden, and
Persona." The star of the episodic series is Mithos, a young man who sets out to become the greatest Guild Master in the world. Combat will be turn-based and the Wii U version will make use of the GamePad for Off-TV Play and more.
