Armikrog coming to Wii U eShop

The Kickstarter campaign for Armikrog has reached its Wii U stretch goal, which means it will be ported to Nintendo's new console. The point and click adventure game features stop-motion animation which gives it a very unique look. Here's a brief summary of the plot from the Kickstarter page:

Without giving too much away, Armikrog follows the adventures of a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind alien, talking dog named Beak-Beak. They crash land on a weird planet and end up locked in a mysterious fortress called Armikrog. Then...the adventure begins!

Armikrog is being developed by Pencil Test Studios. Doug TenNapel, who worked on Earthworm Jim, has partnered with the team and will lend his expertise. You can find tons of info on the game's official Kickstarter page via the source link below. Trailer after the break.
